Eye-opening Tour!
Excellent walk. It was informative and beautiful. Megan took time to point out fauna & flora and knew lots about everything we saw. Seals and dolphins were a highlight for us! I know so much more to watch out for on my next walk now. Highly recommend!!!

A Lovely Walk
Lovely walk with Megan today round Orphir Bay. Looking at it on the map I thought we would be round in an hour – but 3 hours flew by! There was so much to see and hear (and sometimes taste). Megan is a terrific guide: very calm, quiet and constantly alert to the unexpected (like the hares boxing on the hill behind us). She has a deep knowledge of the place, and it was a real pleasure to go out with her.

A Fab Evening Walk!
Megan took us on a fab evening walk up Marwick Head, she is so knowledgable and interesting, taking time to answer our questions while still being observant with all going on around us in the air just in case we missed something. We saw so many seabirds and some peregrine falcons, we definitely weren’t expecting that! Will be back in touch for our next trip to Orkney and will definitely recommend Wild Orkney Walks. Thankyou Megan 💖

What A Treat!
What a treat! Anxious about walking close to cliff edges on a new path solo, I contacted Megan. On a beautiful August day, eventually with sunshine, we walked from Yesnaby to Stromness. Megan was an excellent guide; we saw seabirds (25 species), wildflowers (34 species) and butterflies (5 varieties). Along with sensational cliff views and sea stacks, it was a really amazing day! Thank you Megan.

A Perfect Afternoon
Lovely walk at Mull Head. Some amazing spots of porpoises, a grey seal, black guillemot, Arctic Skua and many more birds. Megan was a treasure trove of information about the insects and wildflowers of Orkney – there was so much that we would not have noticed by ourselves. It was a perfect afternoon!

A Fabulous Day Out
Nothing could be better than sitting by the loch watching a short eared owl hunting, other than seeing an otter. How you spotted the otter Megan I will never know, but I’m really glad you did!! It was a fabulous day out, thank you.
