The Mull Head Wildlife Walk is one of my most popular summer walks, offering a wide variety of wildlife including waders, seabirds, wildflowers and insects. The walk includes a visit to The Gloup (a collapsed sea cave), and we then follow a coastal path along the cliff tops, with views out to the Northern Isles (on a clear day). There’s a mix of habitats including farmland, verges, heath and cliffs. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the cliff tops watching seabirds such as fulmars, skuas and gulls. We might even be lucky and spot a few puffins!

The walk is approx. 4 miles in length but we take 4 hours at a nice relaxed pace allowing us plenty of time to stop, look at the views, watch the seabirds on the cliffs and look out for marine life.

It is possible to do a shorter walk which lasts approx. 3 hours, price £45pp.

Please wear walking boots, and bring warm waterproof clothing, a drink and a packed lunch. More information on where to meet and what to bring with you will be included in your booking confirmation.
