Welcome to Wild Orkney Walks where we can take you on foot to beautiful locations and show you our wonderful wildlife. From the busy seabird cliffs, to colourful wildflower meadows and white sandy beaches, our walks cover it all. One of the many things we love about walking in Orkney is the surprise of the unknown, you just never know what you might see and where, which adds to the enjoyment of being outdoors.View Walks
My name is Megan and I am Wild Orkney Walks. My aim in setting up the business is to share my love and passion of Orkney and its wildlife with people.
I have been interested in wildlife from an early age. Growing up in the Highlands I was surrounded by nature and I have always loved being outdoors, regardless of the weather.
One of my great passions is the story of the White-Tailed Eagles on Hoy and I am equally as passionate about dragonflies, mammals and our beautiful wildflowers.Read More
Based on the Scottish Government guidelines that tourism is re-opening nationally on the 15th July, we have made the decision to restart our wildlife walks from the 18th July. We will be implementing a few changes over the coming weeks and are currently reviewing the range of walks on offer in line with current guidelines. We will update this page in due course. We are excited to be starting again and really looking forward to sharing our fabulous wildlife and walks with you!
In addition to the standard walks, Wild Orkney Walks offers other services like Bespoke Walks and Wildlife Guiding.
In addition to our standard walks we also offer a Bespoke service, where we can customise walks to suit your requirements.
I can also be hired as a wildlife guide for an existing tour group, a taxi tour or I can join you in your own vehicle.
I will strive to answer all e-mails within 24 hours. If there is no answer on the phone, it’s because I am out on walking tours but please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
