Beautiful Walk

Seal Pup Walk

Megan’s passion really made this walk, we had a fabulous time. Megan is knowledgeable, friendly and really loves what she does. We saw over 80 seal pups and were very lucky to see some orca too! A beautiful walk, would 100% recommend going with Megan as she is full of information and has a great eye for spotting things for you to see!

Enjoyable Day Out

Seal Pup Walk

Had a really enjoyable day walking with Megan to see the seal pups. Her enthusiasm for the wildlife is wonderful and refreshing. The weather was pleasant and we even saw a Peregrine falcon. Shall be doing it again the next time I’m in Orkney

Superlative Experience

Northside Walk

The entire experience was superlative. Megan is enthusiastic, well organized, and incredibly knowledgeable about the various species of plants, butterflies, and especially birds (including a pair of out-of-season Great Northern Divers) that we saw mid-July, 2019.

Matt Guthrie was especially impressed by Megan’s ability to identify birds by their songs. We took both the Hoxa and Northside walks, which were ideal for two moderately fit older birders.

Wild Orkney Walks is highly recommended.

Fantastic Puffin Walk

Puffin Walk

We did a walk with Megan today it was fantastic, she was knowledgeable with the birdlife and flowers and has amazing eyesight to spot a Puffin and other birds from a mile away. We could not think of a more lovely way to spend an afternoon in Orkney.

A Fantastic Walk!

Hoxa Walk

What a fantastic walk! Megan met us and we walked past fields filled with the birdsong of waders and skylarks that you just don’t hear at home. We emerged onto the coast and had stunning views over Scapa Flow and were able to wander round the gun placements and buildings from the WW’s. Megan gave us an excellent insight into the wildlife and history of this area which helped give us an understanding that we wouldn’t have gained if we’d been on our own. We didn’t feel rushed, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying watching some amazing wildlife – Megan is a wonderful guide. Thank you so much Megan, we’ll be back!
