Fun, relaxed and informative
A fantastic experience with Megan. We did the evening walk and saw so many birds including puffins. Megan is so passionate about wildlife, she was a joy to spend time with. We learned so much about birds, flowers, wildlife and also Orkney. It was fun, relaxed and informative. Our 17yo son was in his element getting so many great photo opportunities. Thank you Megan! Megan’s knowledge was invaluable
We took part in the Seabird City Experience with Megan a couple of weeks ago and had a great time.
We are new to birdwatching and Megan’s knowledge was invaluable, we were able to see many species and learn about them, plus the cliff environment and all its plants. It was really a full immersion, and I think we wouldn’t have seen even half of what we have without Megan’s guidance! It is also a pleasure to learn from someone who’s clearly very passionate about wildlife.
We also appreciated that this and other walks were tailored around public transport and the description included all the information about how to reach the meeting point by bus – as we didn’t have our own car this made it much more easily accessible.

Best day EVER!
Best day EVER! Day trip to Westray to see the puffins but fell in love with fulmars. Megan tailors her commentary to you. If you show an interest in something, you’ll find out how much she knows, but if you want to sit quietly with the birds, there’s space for that too. She has a deep and genuine love for the natural world and it was a very rewarding say in her company. Heartily recommend it. We’d love to visit another island with her.

A very enjoyable day
We had an amazing time on the Ultimate Puffin experience yesterday and saw hundreds of puffins, including close up. We also learned a lot about the flowers, plants and other birds, as a result of Megan’s extensive knowledge. A very enjoyable day. Highly recommended!.

Megan was very knowledgeable and interesting
We both really enjoyed our walk with Megan. It was exciting to see the Scottish primrose for the first time and other plants like mountain everlasting and arrow grass and creeping willow – real contrasts to plants nearer home. Megan was very knowledgeable and interesting and even managed to find us a close up puffin! Thank you
